You connect the dots.

You want to understand the whole picture. Patterns, tradeoffs, and second-order effects catch your attention. You are good at finding a direction that makes sense beyond the next move.

Building a business

How you work

You look for the logic beneath a decision. Comparing alternatives, spotting dependencies, and thinking a few moves ahead help you make complexity understandable. A team can rely on you to ask the question that prevents a costly detour.

More information can also become a reason to wait. Some uncertainties only disappear once you act, and a reversible decision rarely needs a perfect answer. A useful partner helps you distinguish what must be understood now from what a small test can reveal.

Your superpower.

You bring clarity to complicated choices and see consequences that others miss.

Your blind spot.

The search for a better answer can postpone a decision that is already good enough to test.

Your strengths

Seeing the consequences

You notice how a decision affects the rest of the system, beyond its immediate benefit.

Making tradeoffs clear

You help a team discuss what it is choosing and what it is giving up.

Patterns to watch

Waiting for certainty

The search for a complete picture may delay a choice that is already safe to test.

Overloading the decision

Too many alternatives can make a small, reversible step feel like a permanent commitment.

Your growth

A question worth asking

What do I genuinely need to know before taking a reversible step?

A small experiment for this week

  1. Pick a decision you have been postponing. Name the two most realistic options and the main tradeoff.
  2. Ask what would make the choice reversible. Set a limit on the time or information you will gather.
  3. Choose a small next step and a review date. Record what you expect so you can compare it with what happens.

Working with others

You help people think more clearly when you make your reasoning visible. Share the main tradeoff first, then the detail someone needs to examine it. A useful question often creates more movement than a complete argument.

An action-oriented partner can help you learn what analysis cannot settle. Agree on a decision deadline and the conditions for revisiting it. This protects your need for sound reasoning without making everyone wait for certainty.

One useful agreement

We will name the uncertainty, choose a small test and review the evidence on a specific date.
